Welcome to our new Wiki!

These pages are designed as an addition to our main Rapido Caravan Club site. Link here: Rapido Caravan Club

They are intended primarily for people to post any queries related to Rapido caravans and motorhomes that they think other people may be able to help them with. I recommend that that you do not include personal information such as your email address, home address or telephone number.

Other visitors can then post a reply.

This provides a more dynamic replacement for our Can You Help and Answers to Questions pages as postings are in real time and there is no need to wait for Webmaster to update the site.

Please note that this wiki is not intended for the placing of For Sale adverts. The exception, of course, is if you are offering something for free in which case please make this clear in your posting. There is a page for adverts on the main web site. The cost is only £5, which goes towards Club funds, and your advert can stay on for however long is necessary with no additional charge. Any adverts sneaked onto the wiki when I'm not looking will be removed as soon as I notice!

If you have any suggestions regarding what kinds of pages we could add, please post a comment at the bottom of this page.

Becoming a registered user is easy. You choose a username and password but only your username is visible to other people. (The only reason for registration is that it helps to prevent unwelcome visitors adding innappropriate content i.e. they can be blocked from further use of the site.)

Don't forget to have a good look around the main site at Rapido Caravan Club. There are links there to companies that might be useful to you for spares etc. We would be glad to hear of any company you have found particularly useful and we can add a link to them.

There is also a list of scanned publications which you can download to your computer. These are mainly manuals for various models of Rapido and can be helpful if you have bought a used van minus its manual. From time to time we manage to get hold of new documents and these will be made available as we acquire them.

Coming soon will be user instructions for some accessories such as Trumatic heaters, Electrolux fridges, Thetford cassettes, etc. Contact me if you need any of these urgently.

Motorhomes WELCOME

If you find a place where motohomes are especially welcome, please make a comment on the appropriate page.

Of particular interest would be places where motorhomes can legally stop overnight, either free or for a small charge. Initially, we will have them on these pages but, if enough of these Continental-style aires are discovered, we make a separate space for them.
